About Us

I founded Always On Call Corp in October 2019, inspired by my eight years working as a Staff Coordinator with Home Instead. During that time, I handled on-call duties not only for my own office but for several others, and I saw just how vital it is to have someone reliable and compassionate answering the phone after hours. I knew there had to be a better way to support offices, caregivers, and clients—and that’s when Always On Call Corp was born.

We’re more than just a call service. We’re part of your team. We speak the Home Instead language, understand the culture, and care deeply about the people we serve. Every call is an opportunity to help someone feel heard, supported, and reassured—whether it’s a caregiver with a question or a client’s family member needing guidance.

What I love most is the connection. Caregivers and clients always have a story to share, and those moments remind me why this work matters. It’s about being present, being kind, and being a steady voice when someone needs it most.

I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support of my husband, Steven, my two adult twin daughters, my terrific son-in-law, and my two beautiful granddaughters. They are my heart and my motivation, and they remind me every day that family, compassion, and service are at the core of everything I do.

At the end of the day, it’s all about making sure no one feels alone—because even after hours, someone should always be there to answer the call.

Shawna has been an on-call specialist with Always On Call Corp since April 2023. A proud lifelong Texan, she and her husband have raised four wonderful children, and her deep-rooted values of warmth and connection shine through in every call she takes. She finds joy in talking with care professionals and clients, offering help wherever she can — and sharing a laugh along the way. Shawna brings a supportive and uplifting presence to every interaction, making sure those she speaks with feel heard and cared for.

Outside of work, Shawna enjoys spending quality time with her family and creating lasting memories together.

Cassie’s been part of the Always On Call family since August 2022, bringing warmth and a genuine love for helping others. She’s all about making people smile and being a bright spot in their day. When she’s not working, Cassie’s busy making memories with her four amazing daughters.

Brittany Curtis is a valued member of the Always On Call Corp team, where she provides dependable and empathetic after-hours support for Home Instead offices. With a warm and inviting voice, Brittany brings comfort and clarity to every caller, ensuring that both clients and care professionals feel heard and supported during their time of need.

Her commitment to compassionate communication and thoughtful problem-solving makes her an essential part of our mission to deliver exceptional care around the clock. Outside of work, Brittany is a proud mother of five amazing children and is supported by a loving and encouraging husband. Her family is her greatest inspiration, fueling her dedication to kindness, patience, and meaningful connection in all she does.

Joy has been part of the Always On Call team since June 2023. She loves the teamwork and camaraderie that comes with the job, and she’s always happy to help care pros and clients with whatever they need. Outside of work, Joy is passionate about volunteering in her community — it brings her joy to lend a hand and brighten someone’s day.
